“ The restaurant is very nice and all of the food was perfect with a little something unique. I enjoyed the Beef Carpaccio, NY Strip Frites and Chocolate Mouse. It was all really good. One of the better all around meals I have had in quite a while. ”
“ Great place, service and food. The slow cooked rib eyes are amazing, even more delicious than steaks. The variety of the sides are also great and very tasty. ”
“ The Brass Ram is a hidden gem in Dallas. We got a reservation the day after Valentines Day with ease and were blown away the moment we walked out of the elevator. The ambiance is sort of like a steakhouse meets a speakeasy meets a library in someones den in their home. Very comfortable and relaxed feel, the service was top notch and we were left feeling satisfied in every way. Firstly, our waiter, Will, deserves a 5 star rating on his own. He was knowledgeable and attentive and gave us great recommendations as first timers. Great personality and you can tell he loves what he does. If you have ever been to Lawrys Prime Rib now closed, this place is like that but 100x better. We ordered the Pops cut, medium rare, with a seafood kebab skewer that had a taste of the shrimp, scallop, lobster and king crab all in one. We also ordered the creamed potatoes, creamed spinach, and macaroni and cheese. Oh. My. Effing. God. Every dish was seasoned to perfection and not just with salt and pepper, the depth of flavor in the horseradish and au jus that comes with it....chefs kiss the cheesiness of the spinach and the Yorkshire pudding it comes with...to die for!! So light and airy but soaks up all the sauce and is basically a vehicle with which you get the food to your mouth sans forks and knives if you wanted. Then we had the chocolate mousse for dessert. This mousse didnt come in a tiny shooter glass, it was filled to the brim in a whiskey glass, so decadent. We immediately started thinking who we should bring here next because the Brass Ram is now a staple on our list of places to go in Dallas. This place is worth every penny. We ended up taking a Lyft there and there didnt appear to be very much parking although there are a few lots around that Im sure offer paid parking. ”
“ UPDATE Every visit to this restaurant keeps getting betterand Ive officially found my new favorite dish the onion rings! Perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and paired with a rich dipping sauce that takes them to another level. If youre into comfort food done right, dont skip these. A big thank you to Cameron, the bartender, who made the experience even better with his warm, welcoming vibe and great drink recommendations. Mitzy, the general manager, clearly runs a tight shipher attention to detail and kindness shine through in every interaction. And Sera, our server, was incredibly attentive and sweetshe made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. This place has officially become a regular spot for me. Great food, great team, and consistently toptier service! Exceptional desserts and attentive staff make this my goto spot. Consistently delicious food, especially the steak, cocktails, and desserts. While a bit pricey, its perfect for a leisurely meal, not quick bites. Highly recommend. ”
“ MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW! Wow what a surprise treasure to have found. My wife had always loved this building, located in the new East quarter of Dallas, and had been curious which restaurant had taken over. Little did we know it would be like stepping into an episode of Guy Ritchies The Gentleman. The vibe is masculine but with a very artistic punch of color, the design aesthetic is cohesive and very finely curated by the owner and extensive. We had the pleasure of meeting GM Mitsy, Minister of Beverage Brandon, and our wonderful server Amandacant say enough about this place and the very easy engagement, spending time with us. Steaks were great try the prime rib, but ask for an end cut, appetizers, cocktailseverythings on point. I recommend 1836 cocktail, the donkey roll dessert, the steaks, and the bacon stack appetizer! Will absolutely be back many many times. Check out the bar, National Anthem, downstairs, the private Marilyn Monroe dining room, and then just take in all the design goodness everywhere you look. FYI the bar has a very good bourbon selection, make sure that you ask for the spirits list if youre sitting at a table. Instantly one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas! ”
“ My wife and I went for our anniversary. The food and service was impeccable. Will, our server was top notch. The General Manager was very professional and personable. Highly recommend for great service and food! ”
“ I had an incredible dinner here. I was celebrating my birthday while on a work trip. The server Travis was so attentive and helpful with his recommendations. The manager brought over a complimentary glass of sparkling wine that was delicious because she knew it was my birthday. Not only was the service amazing, but so was the food. The seafood pasta, even the house salad was such a unique and tasty combo. Highly recommend this place if you want great service and a meal worth paying for. ”
“ One of the best food experiences in Dallas. Consummate steakhouse energy, dripping in texture and taste, both visual and flavor. The prices are where you might expect them to be but not unfair. The wine list is approachable. The burger is worth getting, but in general I would say go with people so you can get lots of things. ”
